Ballistic Steel, Kevlar and Run Flat Tires. |

Armoring level
The vehicle is protected against the requirements and ammunition from high
velocity rifles as defined by the European Standard CEN 1063 and
corresponding to the Bullet Resistance Class B6. Standards met are DIN EN
1063 (1999) (BR6 for transparent armour) and DIN EN 1522 u 1523 (1999) (FB6
for opaque armour).
Protection offered against:
Up to Europa Standard B6, please see chart above for details.
Overlap system
Ample overlaps to all opaque and transparent areas and ballistic sealing of
all gaps by spall returns at all doors and windows.
Spall-protection
The roof and floor areas have spall-protection (resisting simultaneous
detonation of 2 hand grenades DM-51 per square meter). Anti-explosion
protection results from the armoured shell construction.
Compliance and Ballistic Reports
All armoring materials being used have been ballistic tested and certified
by recognized independent test authorities and are supplied with a
Certificate of Compliance to Europa EN 1522 B6.
Warranty
Warranty offered for vehicle (any armor related items installed and
conversion related custom workmanship) is 12 months or 20,000 kms, whichever
comes first. |
