2. General description
2.1 Introduction
The special high power multiband RF communication jammer is fully integrated into Mercedes S500 car system
witch included (Please refer to diagram (sec. 2.3) :
- Remote control unit.
Details: The remote control unit allows to full operator’s control the Jamming System: to turn on/off all separate
band and to see the system status;
- Main control unit
Details of main functions: Overheating and overload protection, high VSWR antenna and RF PA module output
protection, voltage and current level control, start/stop RF transmitting control;
 -Special power source
Detail: alternator (28VDC/140A, total output DC power ~3900W) - fully independent from car electricity, high
efficiency, high stability, air cooled, waterproofed, see the spec attached;
- Jammer power amplifier modules
Details: High efficiency RF PA modules with high density continues FM noise source;
- Cooling system
Details: The cooling system included two high power (~640 CFM) DC axial turbo air fans (incoming and outgoing)
with air filters for incoming side, see the spec attached;
- Antennae
Details: fully installed and tuned high gain omni directional antennae set, see the specs attached.

A P P L I C A T I O N S
These alternators provide very high output
power and are designed to be built into
applications requiring high consumption of
electrical energy. They were all initially designed
for installation on diesel engines in buses and
some special purpose applications.
D E S I G N
The alternators are three-phase, 16-pole
synchronous generators, self-excited by a rotor
consisting of claw poles using protected slip
rings. They have a built-in rectifier and regulator
and are cooled by an external fan. Design
solutions and anticorrosion coatings as well as
specially chosen bearings ensure long life
without maintenance under normal operating
conditions. For operation in extremely hard
conditions - temperature, dust, water - it is
advisable to ventilate the alternator using a
special protection cover on the rear.

C o o l i n g
The alternator has a built-in fan with axial - radial blades that allow rotation in both directions. It is also possible to use a low-noise fan with specially shaped blades.
S t a t o r
A three-phase stator winding with a high filling
factor of the slots and a special method of assembly
provide better cooling and high output power.
R o t o r
The rotor field winding provides excitation of the
alternator through slip rings. With regard to the
installation requirements, slip rings and brushes are
protected in an enclosed environment sealed against
dust and water.
R e c t i f i e r
The rectifier stack is a three-phase bridge circuit
with built-in press fit power and excitation diodes.
Press fit Zener diodes are used to protect alternator
and loads on the vehicle against overvoltages.
R e g u l a t o r
The regulator together with the brush holder is built
into the rear end bracket of the alternator. Regulators
are produced in thick-film hybrid technology.
Monofunction versions of the regulator only are
available.

Antenna 135-175 is wideband antenna covering frequency
range from 135 to 175 MHz and is intended for stationary
and portable use. Electrically the antenna is
designed as a dipole with capacitive continuously distributed
loading along the upper radiating element. All metal
parts of the antenna are DC grounded and enclosed in
tube made of composite material epoxy-glass ensuring
good resistance against atmospheric influences and long
life time. The antenna could be mounted on any metal
tube with inner diameter greater than 30 mm and outer
diameter less than 49 mm (for instance standard tube

The antenna is wideband monopole VHF antenne intended for frequency range from 66 88 MHz. The antenna is designed for maximum possible gain and acceptable low VSWR with extreme short raidiating element

The antenna is therfore intende for use on smaller vehicles and motorcycles etc.

The antenna is composed of two parts: The antenna base and the radiating element. The antenna base is made of stainless steel and of composite materials.
Inside the base is a matching transformer unit. Powerful biconical spring protects the antenna against impacts. The radiating element is made of composite materials enable outstanding strength, even in hardest conditions of use.
The antenna base has four mounting holes equally spaced on a 4.5" (114.3 mm) circle which complies with US Army standard (AS-1729). Different base dimensions are also available on request.

The antenna is completlely painted with military green (RAL-6414) two-component UV resistant paint.

The antenna is wideband monoploe intended for use in the standars frequency range from 400 to 530 MHz.

The antenna is composed of a mounting plate with a coaial connector and of a conical radome made from epoxy - glass composite material where the radiating elements are waterproof built in.
The coaxial connector is protected with the washer. The antenna can be mounted directly on flat meyal surface and is primarily intended for use on locomotive engines and other similar vehicles.
Therefore its mechanical construction is optimised regarding high vibrations and shocks arising by the engine.
